Four integrated resistance-band sets
Two lower sets positioned near the hips. Two upper sets positioned near the shoulders. Together they support a wide range of pushing and pressing movements without separate equipment.
MetBoost Wearable Resistance Training Vest
MetBoost is an innovative wearable resistance training system that lets people walk while simultaneously performing upper-body resistance exercises. Instead of separate strength and cardio sessions, MetBoost is designed to combine both in one convenient workout.
The architecture
Every MetBoost movement starts from one of four integrated resistance-band sets.
The primary demonstration
Engineered to help you burn more calories while you walk.
Designed around you
Two lower sets positioned near the hips. Two upper sets positioned near the shoulders. Together they support a wide range of pushing and pressing movements without separate equipment.
Beyond the signature walking movement, the vest is designed to support more than 50 potential resistance exercises for the upper body, lower body and core. The movement library is being developed and validated.
The wearable design removes the need for bulky equipment for supported workouts. Put it on at home, take it outdoors, pack it for travel.
The original design includes a waist-support element intended to give the vest a snug, stable fit while you move. It is a fit feature, not a medical or therapeutic device.
At home, outdoors, on walks and while traveling: walking, sitting, standing, or in front of the television.
Integrated reflective material is designed to make the wearer more visible in low light, for evening and early-morning walks.
Recovery, rehabilitation & mobility
MetBoost may have potential applications in supervised rehabilitation, mobility training and progressive resistance exercise. These are possibilities to be evaluated with qualified professionals — not established uses.
Potential application
Back-strengthening and core conditioning
Progressive exercises for the muscles that support posture.
Potential application
Recovery-oriented strength training
Lighter resistance and controlled movements, built back gradually.
Potential application
Gentle upper-body resistance
Low-load pushing and pressing from the lower and upper bands.
Potential application
Seated exercise programs
Supported routines for people who prefer, or need, to exercise sitting down.
Potential application
Mobility and functional fitness
Movements that relate to everyday tasks: reaching, pushing, walking.
Potential application
Physical therapy and rehabilitation settings
A portable tool a professional could choose to include in a supervised program.
Potential application
Progressive strengthening after certain injuries
Where a qualified professional judges resistance exercise appropriate.
Every potential application requires evaluation and appropriate professional guidance. MetBoost does not treat back pain, heal injuries or prevent injury, and is not clinically approved for rehabilitation.
